In Person Workout #7 Announced - Bike, Brute Ball & Jump


The final workout being announced prior to the in person events this Saturday and Sunday..


TEAM EVENT 7:

“Bike, Ball, & Jump Relay”


For time:

Athlete 1 - 21 Cal air bike, 100’ heavy Brute Ball carry, 3 box jumps, sprint to tag

Athlete 2 - 18 Cal air bike, 100’ heavy Brute Ball carry, 6 box jumps, sprint to tag

Athlete 3 - 15 Cal air bike, 100’ heavy Brute Ball carry, 9 box jumps, sprint to tag

Athlete 4 - 12 Cal air bike, 100’ heavy Brute Ball carry, 12 box jumps, sprint to finish


12-minute cap


VARIATIONS

Rx - 150/100# Brute Ball, 30” box jump

Open - 100/70# Brute Ball, 24” box jump


WORKOUT FLOW

On the call of 3, 2, 1, - GO! Athlete 1 will sprint to the bike and do 21 calories. Once complete, they will pick up their ball (sex appropriate), then carry approximately 100’. They will then do the set of box jumps and return the ball and sprint to tag the next team member in line. This basic flow will happen for each athlete until the last one in which they will sprint to the finish line for the final time.


MOVEMENT STANDARDS

Air bike - The athlete will begin each set with the calories on zero and bike until the calorie point is reached before exiting the bike.


Brute Ball carry - The athlete will lift the Brute Ball in ANY way they wish to carry the ball the marked distance.


Box jumps - The athlete will jump to the top of the box and may jump or step down. The rep is complete once the athlete is standing at the top of the box with the hips and knees open and torso vertical.



 

INDIVIDUAL EVENT 7:

“Bike, Ball, & Jump Sprint”


For time:

12/9 Cal air bike

50' heavy Brute Ball carry

3 Box jumps

9/7 Cal air bike

50' heavy Brute Ball carry

6 Box jumps

6/5 Cal air bike

50” heavy Brute Ball carry

9 Box jumps

Sprint to finish


5 minute cap


VARIATIONS

Pro - 150/100# Brute Ball, 30/24” box

Rx - 150/100# Brute Ball, 30/24” box

Open/40+/Teen - 100/70# Brute Ball, 24/20”


WORKOUT FLOW

On the call of 3, 2, 1, - GO! Athletes will advance from the starting point to the bike where they will bike the specified calories. They will then move the ball to the area needed in order to perform box jumps. Then, they will then move the bike and complete the 2nd and 3rd rounds in the same way. Once the third carry is complete, they will sprint to the finish for time.

Air bike - The athlete will begin each set with the calories on zero and bike until the calorie point is reached before exiting the bike.


Brute Ball carry - The athlete will lift the stone in ANY way they wish to carry the ball the marked distance.


Box jumps - The athlete will jump to the top of the box and may jump or step down. The rep is complete once the athlete is standing at the top of the box with the hips and knees open and torso vertical.
