2021 Championship Online Workouts 1-3 Announced
This is the time is get's real, the first workout announcements.
Although this year has brought about a lot of change, we are continuing forward, adapting, and showing resilience - all of us. So, no matter where you end up, just know that you are entering the ring like a fighter and that means something!
The first 3 workouts for individuals (to be done at your own gym):
IE1 - 14-MIN AMRAP (from 0:00-14:00) Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 14 minutes of: 8 Alternating hang dumbbell snatch 10 dumbbell box step overs, 24/20” box 12 Wall balls to 10/9’ target
IE2 - 1REP MAX POWER CLEAN (from 14:00- 23:00) Power clean 1-rep max
IE3 - 7-MIN AMRAP BURPEES (from 23:00-30:00) As many reps in possible in 7 minutes of: Bar-facing burpees
The first 3 workouts for teams (to be done at your own gym):
TE1 - 14-MIN AMRAP As many rounds and reps as possible in 14 minutes of: MF pair 1 8 Synchro alternating hang dumbbell snatch 8 Synchro dumbbell box step overs, 24/20” box 8 Synchro wall balls to 10/9’ target MF pair 2 8 Synchro alternating hang dumbbell snatch 8 Synchro dumbbell box step overs, 24/20” box 8 Synchro wall balls to 10/9’ target
Add 2 reps to wall balls after each completed round. For example, MF pair 1 would return for round 2 and do 8 Synchro alternating hang dumbbell snatch, 8 Synchro dumbbell box step overs, 24/20” box, and 10 Synchro wall balls to 10/9’ target. Then, MF pair 2 would return for their round 2 and do 10 synchro wall balls as well. In the 3rd round, the wall balls would increase to 12 reps.
TE2 - 1REP MAX POWER CLEAN Power clean 1-rep max
Men will work together on 1 bar. Women will work together on 1 bar. Score will be the highest successful weight lifted for each athlete combined for the entire team score. For example, M1 + M2 + F1 + F2= total team score.
TE3 - 7-MIN AMRAP BURPEES As many reps in possible in 7 minutes of: Synchro bar-facing burpees
Reminder!!! We are requiring a video link be provided to get scored for these workouts. The deadline to submit score and video is next Thursday, November 18th at 5pm. However, the leaderboard will not be posted until after the deadline, so please submit early if at all possible.
