Pro Individuals

We have limited spots for the Pro Individuals. For individuals that placed INSIDE the top 500 within your region in last year’s CrossFit Open, you are eligible to register for the Pro division. You will be expected to do advanced CrossFit movements and the loads listed in the loads list.

Examples:

– If you placed anywhere from 1st to 500th place in your region, you may register for the Pro division. It does NOT matter which region you competed in.

– If you placed 401st or greater in your region in last year’s Open, but can deadlift 500 lbs., run a 4:00 mile, do 100 unbroken pullups, and can snatch 250 lbs., you may NOT register in the Pro division. Additionally, if you have the same stats, but did not compete in the Open last year, you still may not register for the Pro division.

We understand that some individuals could not, or chose not to compete in last year’s Open. That is fine. But, for the purposes of rewarding those that did, and ensuring our Pro division is filled with athletes that have “proven” themselves, we are making this a requirement to compete in our Pro division.

Open Individuals

If you placed OUTSIDE the top 500 within your region, or did not compete, and can do the maximum loads on the Load List, you are able to compete in the Open division.

*The loads on the load list represent weights and movements that you will be expected to do in a workout. However, it is VERY unlikely that the max loads listed will be used in a workout with high reps (we are not trying to kill you!).

Teams

We have three divisions of teams-  Pro, Open, and Masters.

Pro – For the Pro division, all team members must be able to do the movements and maximum loads on the Load List or greater.

Open – For the Open division, all team members must be able to do the movements and maximum loads on the Load List or greater.

Masters – For the Master’s division, all team members must be able to do the movements and maximum loads on the Load List or greater. Additionally, all Master Team athletes must be 40 years of age as of November 18th, 2016.
